On the drive
or on the road?
A skip entirely on your private driveway does not normally need a road permit. If it needs to sit on the road, council permission must be in place before delivery.
Call with your postcode and placement details. If a skip can’t stay outside, our van or wait-and-load service may be a better fit.

How long can I keep the skip?
Standard hire is up to seven days. If you need longer, tell us before booking so we can agree the hire period and any extra cost. Call when you’ve finished to arrange collection.
Will I need a road permit?
A skip entirely on private land does not normally need a road permit. A skip on a public road needs council permission before delivery. Tell us where you want it placed so the permit arrangements can be checked.
How do I arrange collection or an exchange?
Call us when you’ve finished with the skip. We’ll agree collection around the drivers’ schedule. If you need another skip, tell us at the same time so we can arrange a paid exchange.
